what do you think?

Okay, I think I've settled on a template for a while. What do you think? Many hours were spent trying to find websites that have blogger templates that actually work. There are a lot of templates that I liked, but only the XML codes would work, the HTML just wouldn't work for me, even if I reverted to the classic blogger. oh well. I like this for now. I've already started to update and put back all my links on the side bar, it's a good thing I have a sister that has a lot of the same links I do, cause I forgot to take a screenshot of my old links. *I won't make that mistake again* Right now I'm listening to music from my friend Leslie's blog cause it's too quiet right now (btw, love the music Leslie!!). So far it's been a good few days! I took one of my daughters with me to a dinner for my cousin Anna. It was her Birthday on the 10th, she turned ** (out of respect for my cousin I won't share that information). =o) We went to Asian Star. YUMMMMY. My most favorite Chinese food in the valley, and since my husband won't each Chinese anymore (long story) I go with everyone else. It was a nice dinner with my mom, Anna, her friend, my sister, and 2 exchange students that are staying with my mom. The only kink in that night was my Passat started acting up. The car has been running beautifully since June, and then it started acting weird. On the way home from dinner I would not drive over 40mph (mostly between 25-25) cause it freaked me out. AND I won't drive it until it gets fixed. My husband took a look at it today only to find out the 3rd cylinder won't fire and we'll have to take it into the shop to get it fixed, Alex's Autohaus. So I'm pretty much 'car less' until it's fixed. Hopefully it won't take too long. Oh! something worth mentioning. I signed up my oldest for PRESCHOOL in the fall. can you believe it? we're very excited and she is more than ready. The preschool is just out of this nice lady's home which is a short car ride away. She had an open house today where we went in, saw where she would be teaching the kids, met some of the other kids, and reserved a spot. There are quite a few kids that live very close to our home that will be attending AND the teacher suggested a class just for them! how fun is that. So my daughter will be going to a class full of kids that live within walking distance. They grow up so fast. You wouldn't believe the wait lists for some of these preschools. I called one place that has a wait list until 2011!! for preschool! how crazy is that. Some places you have to call and reserve a spot 2 years in advance, and count yourself lucky if you find a place 9 months before classes start. They need to make an idiots guide for new mom's that have never done this before. On to other updates. I can't believe my baby is 7 months old. She has yet to crawl, but she's really good at scooching (sp?) on her back. funny girl. She has really strong legs, but doesn't like to be on her belly much. If you haven't heard she is a total mama's girl. i LOVE it, most of the time. Her 4th tooth is peeking through her gums. I can't wait to get out of this teething stage, it's miserable for everyone. The girls and I rented a few movies this weekend. If you haven't seen 3:10 to Yuma, I recommend it. It's a good cowboy movie, and has one of my favorite actors, Christian Bale. We also rented The Nanny Diaries, with Scarlett Johansson and Alicia Keys (I had no idea she was doing movies too. love her music). The movie was cute and was told from a fun perspective. The other movies we got were for the girls. Love movies. I'm thinking about taking the girls to go see, The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything, a Veggie Tales Movie. If you haven't heard of Veggie Tales, it's show that has vegetable cartoons telling varies stories where a lesson is usually learned. Silly, but the kids love it.
