I think my sister Amy did a great job on her blog summarizing what we did on our weekend. Maybe I'll just add some fun pictures. =o) Ok ok, I'll tell you my story.
My trip started the moment we sat on the plane. I was sick...which has never happened to me on a plane before. I won't go into all the details, but thank goodness for those "feel better" bags they give you in pockets in the seat. Luckily the worst part was over in 24 hrs.

We finally arrived in Seattle, which to me seemed like forever, and Lisa was waiting for us. Then we packed up her red jeep and headed for Port Angeles (with a few sightseeing stops on the way).

For those who are crazy about the book Twilight, the next morning we headed to the little town of Forks to drive around a little. Then we packed a little picnic and went to La Push for a beach walk! This area is absolutely gorgeous!

They even have a little rainforest. You are completely surrounded by this lush green forest, that you wouldn't even think that their was an ocean on the other side. The beach itself is full of these perfectly rounded rocks of all sizes and these HUGE trees that have washed up on shore. Lisa called it the tree "bone yard". My other favorite part of this day was when I was able to take a nap in the back of the car whenever we were driving. =o) Being nautious is never fun when you're in a car. Eventually we made it back to the house Lisa is watching near Olympia for the night. The next morning we headed to Tacoma for our glassblowing class!

This is such an amazing process to watch and would take a while, so I'll add pictures instead. After our class, we headed to the Tacoma Glass Museum. Inside the museum they have a group of people demonstrating glass blowing during the hours it's open, and I could watch it all day.

Unfortunately we didn't have all day to watch, we needed to head to Seattle. We stopped by an amazing toy store, and then headed to our sunset Kayaking tour. They were able to give us the 3 person kayak, which turned out to be a lot of fun, but Amy and Lisa were stuck with me steering the kayak.

So around 10-11 at night after Kayaking we were starving and found a Cheesecake factory still open and taking orders. Just side note for anyone ordering the small salads...they are HUGE, plan on sharing with someone, the "small" is misleading. =o) Our last day in Washington we spent mostly downtown Seattle at Pikes Place Market, which has amazing prices and LOTS of fresh food, flowers, and anything else you can think of. We also spent time at a really neat park that overlooked the seattle skyline. Ams and I had a great time with our sister Lisa, it was sad to go, but we also missed our families. Hope everyone else had a great weekend!

I love Washington! My sister lives there as well, and it's always a blast to visit. I've never visited the Glass Blowing place though. How cool is that? I'm glad you had a good time!
