Movie Review: The Vow

A Girls Night Out!  Dinner and a chick-flick.

Been a long week, so nice when my cousin insisted that we meet up for dinner and movie!  My twin sister and my cousin decided on one of our favorite places, Zupas, for dinner and a cutesie movie, the vow.  What a great way to end a work day.  I've always loved spending time with some of my favorite people.  All I can say was it was a much needed girl time.

The movie...well it has hottie channing tatum and adorable rachel mcadams. Short and sweet, a couple married for a few years is involved in a terrible accident.  As they recover, the wife is put in a coma to help with the head trauma from the accident.  When she wakes up, she has severe memory loss, she can't remember the last 5-6 years, remembers nothing of her husband or her life in Chicago.  Her husband is devastated, but is determined to win her heart again.

The movie is just that... a chick flick.   I thought it was very cute (did I mention the shot of Channing Tatums derriere!??). At the end you find out that the book/movie is based on a true story!  3/5 stars
