Much needed new pics of my girls

I know it has been a while since I have added any new pictures of my girls to my blog. You are in luck! I have been having waaaay to much fun with my camera in the last few weeks AND I have finally moved my pics from the camera to my computer so that I can actually share them.
The first picture is a "self portrait" of me and my girls. That's kinda hard to juggle a camera, a baby and a little girl all at the same time, but it was fun to try!
Then the next picture is just of my girls. They are soo adorable. And so far so good..they get a long! My baby LOVES playing with her big sister, it makes her giggle. They still have their moments when my oldest thinks I'm giving too much attention to the baby, but we're working on that.
Then my third picture is of my baby on her belly. She is now to that stage where she is really quick moving from her belly to her back and vice versa. verycute. She actually takes some of her naps on her belly now. When I go into the room to get her from her naps she is waiting for me staring out of her crib bars, "mommy get me out of here!" I need to catch that with a camera. She's is also really good at scootching backwards. We're still working on the crawling forward. =o)
My last picture if of my princess bundled up and playing our last snow storm. lots o'snow. She didn't really know what to do, and didn't like it very much when I threw her in it. lol. i thought it was funny. =o)

Quick Note in memory

All I have to say is WOW. I was completely in SHOCK when I saw that Heath Ledger was found dead today, Tuesday, naked face down in his Manhatten apartment with pills all around him. At first I didn't believe it, or just didn't want to. For now it is undetermined exactly what happened, but they are leaning towards an overdose. My heart goes out to his friends and family. He has a 2 year old daughter! just breaks my heart. He was one of those actors that I always loved to watch on screen...it all started with 10 things I hate about you and A Knights Tale. Great shows. Not only was he nice eye candy, but he could act. Did you know he was playing the Joker in the new installment of Batman: The Dark Night. Anyway, I'll definitely miss him. Just sad that once again we lose great talent at such a young age due to drugs.

my car..ok Jared's car.

lol. My car is back! Well it has been for a couple days, but I have taken it out today and (after a huge chuck o'change) it runs beautifully again. I love my car. love it. I know it's "Jareds" car, but I drive it the most. He really only calls it his car so that I keep it clean. lol. You can really only be so clean with 2 kids in in there. Anyway, just wanted to mention that I'm no longer stuck at home, I have a car to run free and wild!...as wild as one can get with kids. I'm just happy I can go get my slurpees now. =o) yum.

what do you think?

Okay, I think I've settled on a template for a while. What do you think? Many hours were spent trying to find websites that have blogger templates that actually work. There are a lot of templates that I liked, but only the XML codes would work, the HTML just wouldn't work for me, even if I reverted to the classic blogger. oh well. I like this for now. I've already started to update and put back all my links on the side bar, it's a good thing I have a sister that has a lot of the same links I do, cause I forgot to take a screenshot of my old links. *I won't make that mistake again* Right now I'm listening to music from my friend Leslie's blog cause it's too quiet right now (btw, love the music Leslie!!). So far it's been a good few days! I took one of my daughters with me to a dinner for my cousin Anna. It was her Birthday on the 10th, she turned ** (out of respect for my cousin I won't share that information). =o) We went to Asian Star. YUMMMMY. My most favorite Chinese food in the valley, and since my husband won't each Chinese anymore (long story) I go with everyone else. It was a nice dinner with my mom, Anna, her friend, my sister, and 2 exchange students that are staying with my mom. The only kink in that night was my Passat started acting up. The car has been running beautifully since June, and then it started acting weird. On the way home from dinner I would not drive over 40mph (mostly between 25-25) cause it freaked me out. AND I won't drive it until it gets fixed. My husband took a look at it today only to find out the 3rd cylinder won't fire and we'll have to take it into the shop to get it fixed, Alex's Autohaus. So I'm pretty much 'car less' until it's fixed. Hopefully it won't take too long. Oh! something worth mentioning. I signed up my oldest for PRESCHOOL in the fall. can you believe it? we're very excited and she is more than ready. The preschool is just out of this nice lady's home which is a short car ride away. She had an open house today where we went in, saw where she would be teaching the kids, met some of the other kids, and reserved a spot. There are quite a few kids that live very close to our home that will be attending AND the teacher suggested a class just for them! how fun is that. So my daughter will be going to a class full of kids that live within walking distance. They grow up so fast. You wouldn't believe the wait lists for some of these preschools. I called one place that has a wait list until 2011!! for preschool! how crazy is that. Some places you have to call and reserve a spot 2 years in advance, and count yourself lucky if you find a place 9 months before classes start. They need to make an idiots guide for new mom's that have never done this before. On to other updates. I can't believe my baby is 7 months old. She has yet to crawl, but she's really good at scooching (sp?) on her back. funny girl. She has really strong legs, but doesn't like to be on her belly much. If you haven't heard she is a total mama's girl. i LOVE it, most of the time. Her 4th tooth is peeking through her gums. I can't wait to get out of this teething stage, it's miserable for everyone. The girls and I rented a few movies this weekend. If you haven't seen 3:10 to Yuma, I recommend it. It's a good cowboy movie, and has one of my favorite actors, Christian Bale. We also rented The Nanny Diaries, with Scarlett Johansson and Alicia Keys (I had no idea she was doing movies too. love her music). The movie was cute and was told from a fun perspective. The other movies we got were for the girls. Love movies. I'm thinking about taking the girls to go see, The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything, a Veggie Tales Movie. If you haven't heard of Veggie Tales, it's show that has vegetable cartoons telling varies stories where a lesson is usually learned. Silly, but the kids love it. Yup, that's about all. =o) till next time. Hope you are doing well!

blog under construction

I'm looking for a new background/template for my blog..and in doing that I have lost all my add-on. lol. I'll fix everything once I find the template I want to use. Anyone have any good websites to look for new templates?

what I've been doing...

Sorry I don't write much anymore, I'm sure I have lots to share, but haven't thought much of blogger lately. I've kinda been introduced to a new "social website" called Facebook. My sister Lisa told me about it when she was in town a few weeks ago. I guess you would say it's similar to myspace, but I wouldn't know, I'm not familiar with that website. Anyway, I can not believe how many of my friends that I have found that I haven't talk to in forever. I'm talking about friends I haven't seen since elementary school. wow. A few of us are talking about getting a lunch together with everyone that's still around. crazy. I haven't seen these people since I was 12 yrs old. Anyway,I think it is a fun way to share interests, keep tabs on people, and be silly. I have family, extended family, friends from all my schools K-College, and even those that went to church with me growing up. What else have I been doing in my spare time? Well I have a goal to clean out and re-organize the girls room. The closet is somewhat done, but the room is a disaster area. I'm cleaning out clothes--getting rid of the old that neither wear, and getting the next set of clothes for my baby ready. I got tired of the toys in one big bin, so I went and got a toy organizer--love it! I've also made it possible for Cadence to have full access to ALL of her clothes so that she can get ready on her own. Oh and CHRISTMAS is finally put away and Jared cleaned the kitchen. I'm not talking about just doing the dishes, I can see more counter space, it's amazing. I haven't seen the kitchen that clean of clutter for a few years. lol. Last, and probably least important, I've been playing WOW when the girls are finally sleeping. I go through phases with this game. I enjoy playing, and I especially enjoy playing the game with Jared, but it comes in phases. These phases are usually between the books that I read. I finally finished my book and now I'm back in playing wow phase. I am soooo close to having my FIRST level 70 (the highest lvl so far). I know that means nothing to you if you don't know what I'm talking about, but it's a huge thing for me. Think of it this way, I've been playing wow for 3 years and I'm a very very casual player, but in that time I have 3 main characters that I play, a human mage (level 68), a gnome warlock (level 60), and a night elf hunter (level 60). Now Jared, as a comparison, has been playing a a few months longer than me and this is what he plays for his so called, "down time." He has 4 level 70 characters, and 1 level 62 (and when the next expansion comes out he'll have another character to level and the highest level will then be 80). Sorry if it's confusing, but it makes sense to those that play. =o) Bottom line, is I'm excited. I never dreamed of having a level 70, let alone 2 other 60's. If you ask Jared or Jordon, they'll tell you the same. So that's what I've been doing. =oD
