I still can't believe it has been 3 years. I was able to get off work a little early tonight and decorated the best I could with streamers and balloons. We're planning on going to the State Fair with the girls in the morning. Going to the fair should be a fun experience for Cadence. I love the look on her face when she gets excited or experiences something new. The best part of this birthday is SHE KNOWS it's her birthday and SHE KNOWS that it includes presents, party, and cake. Unfortunately, the present I ordered online last week has not arrived in time. I know she won't notice, and who can say no to a belated present. Jared has been very secretive about his present for Cadence. I know what it is, but he won't let me SEE it. He even took the precaution of sending it to his office--pre-wrapped. You just have to laugh sometime. Anyway, hope she has a good day tomorrow!

Emily, You are such a terrific mother. How wonderful that you are putting so much effort into making Cadences Birthday so memorable. do you remember al of the times you woke up in the morning of your birthday and found your room filled with balloons? Do you remember the anticipation of you very special birthday cake and party? Cadence will remember these times but most of all she will always remember how you made her feel. Hats off to you... I Love You. MOM
