Desert Pearl

Next week, Zions. My mom has been planning this trip since March of this year. And I've been looking forward to zions since then. Originally, everyone was planning on going- meaning both my sisters, their families, my family, and my cousin. Unfortunately, a lot has happened in the last week that has altered our plans. When my mom lost her job last week we thought that we would have to cancel the whole thing. Luckily my mom did not cancel the trip, BUT it has been turned into a Girls Only weekend vacation. What used to be 12 going has turned into 7...maybe 8. We're still trying to convince the 8th, but an important event has come up she wants to attend (which we understand). I am just excited to get out of the house. period. It would be nice to have my husband there to have a vacation together, but we'll figure out another time for that. He's already made plans for the weekend--not sure what yet--but i think he's looking forward to it. If you are wondering about the title, it's actually the name of the place we are staying near Zions(http://www.desertpearl.com/). The place we are staying looks absolutely beautiful! I believe that all of us going really...really need this time away. Should be great! I'll post pictures once we get back.
