Started Soccer and Rhyme Program

I started my oldest in soccer for spring.  We tried this when she was three and I hated it. Don't get me wrong, it was cute watching 3yr olds chase a ball like a swarm of bees. Anyway, figured we'd try again and her first game was last Saturday.  So far I like our coach, he is actually trying to teach them the game, how to play, and even some simple drills.  My daughter had a lot of fun at this game....maybe cause she made 2 of the 4 goals, and her team won against a group of boys. lol.

This morning was my daughters Rhyme Program at school.  They assigned 2 kids to a ryhme, they've been memorizing the rhyme for a couple of weeks, and then today recited the nursery rhymes in front of everyone.  My daughter and a girl from a different class were Mary Mary Quite Contrary.  All of the kids did a great job, some of those rhymes were tough.  All the kids dressed for the parts and had props. Oh...and something else I learned this morning. Doesn't matter if you arrive 45 min before the program starts, the front row's already taken (or saved by other people).
