Love is in the Air

If you were to ask me what I thought about Valentines Day? I'd probably say it's just another day and that it's not that important. But in all honesty, I like the hearts, the flowers, the romance, all of it (and the conversation candy hearts..a must). I don't expect it myself, but why not have a day dedicated to LOVE! For some people it's the only day they get flowers, or for others it's an anti-love day. Myself? I don't ask for flowers, I ask for chocolate covered strawberries. yum. My husband and I have a different way of celebrating most holidays. I guess you could say we are pretty low key. One thing I am excited about are the v-day cards I made with my oldest girl for her dad. We made one from her and one from the baby. They turned out really cute, and I can't wait for him to see them. Other than that, nothing special planned...kinda hard with 2 kids. Anyone out there doing something special for Valentines day?! Just for fun I found a couple Valentine pictures/comic to share. I was surprised how I couldn't find exactly what I was looking but these will work.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll find some more Valentines comics. I haven't seen Sherman's Lagoon in ages! The picture by Ty Wilson....there is history there. =o) First time I saw that picture was when I got my haircut by a family friend years ago and loved it (I know Amy will appreciate it!!). I never thought I'd see it again, but I found it when I was looking for Valentines stuff online.
