Spring is here!

Today is the first day of Spring, and I woke up to snow on the ground? =o) The snow has since melted away and the air smells wonderful outside. Last night I finished the last book in the His Dark Material Series by Pullman. Ever since I finished painting Cadence's room, I wanted to finish the series that I started (main reason their have been no posts..I've been reading). These books are being made into movies, the first one, The Golden Compass, came out last December. I'm interested to see how they make the next 2 books into movies. I enjoyed the series, it was full of great imagery, and a storyline that flowed really well. Now I'm onto another book! Fire Study, by Maria V Snyder. This is the 3rd book and I think the last in this series. If you can't tell I LOVE to read, especially fiction, or anything that grabs my attention. =o) Jared introduced me to this series, he came upon it by accident. I think it was when he picked up a MP3 player for his work trip to England a year ago and the 2nd book, Magic Study, was "on tape" already on his player and he listened to it on the flight over. When he got back we picked up the books, I read them over the weekend, and I've been waiting for the 3rd book to be published. I'm sure I'll have it read in no time. =o)
