Movie Review: Morning Glory

Yesterday was a good day.  The morning was really busy, but I managed to get a lot done--including cousin xmas gifts (now if only I could figure out what to get my own kids).  Anyway, last night I wanted to go see a movie. So my honey put the kids to sleep and I ran away to the movie theatre by myself--which I'm totally ok with.  The nice thing about having Harry Potter opening this weekend?? no one was in the movie theatre. At least until a minute before the movie started, then a whole row of gabbing women decided to sit behind me. Favorite part about that? I had to turn around and tell an adult to stop kicking my chair.  good times.

The movie! Charming. Been awhile since I've seen a good Romantic Comedy...if that's what you call the movie.  I'm positive the cast helped...Harrison Ford, Diane Keaton, Rachel McAdams, Jeff Goldblum.  The movie starts with Rachel McAdams working at a morning news show where she thinks she's getting the promotion, but sadly gets fired instead.  Scrambling to find any job, she takes on a producer position for a struggling morning show.  If she doesn't boost ratings, make it more watchable, and get the co-anchors working together, the show will be cancelled.  chick flick? definitely. cute? yes. acting? ok. would I see it again? yes. 6.5/10 stars.
