Fire Pictures

Just wanted to share some amazing pictures from the Corner Canyon fire in Draper today. I didn't notice the fire until around noon when I was heading home from some errands. Not sure if they know how it started, but it was kinda scary how close the fire came to the homes on the mountain. They did have an evacuation, but luckily the fire creeped up the mountain and over. So as far as I know, no homes were lost in that fire. Now I know that was a huge fire, but did you know that their was another fire in West Valley?! 6 homes were damaged or destroyed by that fire. It was just a field fire surrounded by homes, and this could have been much worse. Then tonight when I was out on a walk with my neighbor we noticed smoke from the other side of Rose Canyon in Tooele County. It made for a beautiful sunset...darn where was my camera today!! So I found some other photos online to share: I thought this was a great photo of the Draper temple with the smoke in the back, but it shows how close the fire was to homes on the mountain.
