I have my book
So right before midnight I jumped in the car and drove to Walmart to finally purchase Breaking Dawn. I knew it would be busy, but seriously?? I should have brought my camera. When I walked into Walmart, the place was a mad house. Well one word, sardines. Some even dressed for the occassion (wedding dresses, prom dresses, cloaks...) and I thought to myself, walmart? for a party? If I wanted to dress up and go to a party I would have gone to Barnes and Noble. They had plenty of books, but the books were roped off and someone had to hand me my book. Did anyone buy more than 1-2 books?? Some ladies had 5 books stacked in their arms waiting to check out. Walmart even had games and prizes to give out. I couldn't stay in that area for long, did I forget to mention the amount of talking? 99% were women, so it sounded like a swarm of bees. Of course their were some guys buying the book, or boyfriends, dads with their daughters, and I even noticed a group of guys at the McDonalds just watching all the women go by. Anyway, once you passed the check out stands and into the clothing area, it was empty. I hurried and grabbed the other groceries I needed and went to wait in line at the check out on the other end of the store just to avoid the masses. Waiting to check out (at the Express Lane) was a lot longer than I anticipated. Finally getting through that, they had someone at the front checking your receipt if you bought a book. I felt like I was at Costco getting herded to one door and marking off your receipt. Now I'm home and I could be reading, but I'm afraid that if I start to read now I may not put it down and since I have little ones I do need some sleep. But....1 or 2 chapters wouldn't hurt, right?? =o)

I can't believe you already have it! Jason's at Wal Mart right now getting mine!!!
Yes, I think I would have done B&N for the dress up as well. I am Happy for you that you have your book. Keep us updated at just how much you read and when you get done :) Happy Reading!
k- I just checked my Amazon order, and my book was shipped at midnight from KC. Unfortunetly, it will probably take 6 days to make the 40 min journey. Stupid huh! Since it is so close, I think it should get here today!
