rainbow cupcakes and giant cupcake

For my little girls birthday, we went for rainbow cupcakes! what kids don't like fun playdoh colored cupcakes?? Do you want to know how I did it? so simple. here it goes.

Colorburst Cupcakes (from our best bites)

1 white cake mix

2 eggs
1/2 C milk

1 C yogurt (or sour cream)

1/3 C vegetable oil

• combine all ingredients, and then beat med-high for 2 minutes.
• divide batter depending on how many colors you want to use. I used 5 different colors. a little over a cup per color.
• use whatever food color to the intensity you are looking for.
• the website used a layered look..it was easier to just drop in colors by the tsp at random, then use toothpick to swirl.
• bake according to the package directions.



  Then for the giant cupcake. I've used the cupcake cake pan many times before...I thought it would be fun for the birthday girl to have her own giant cupcake for her birthday and the friends at the party get the regular cupcakes.
