Movie Review: The Tourist

The Tourist.
Last night I was lucky to see a movie with my sister and my cousin! The Tourist.  Maybe I had high expectations for this movie. I love the cast...not just Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie, but Paul Bettany, and Timothy Dalton.  So the cast was great, the location (Venice)...gorgeous, but overall movie? I was bored. My favorite part of the movie? the credit...Muse's Starlight was playing. :) That was my bright side.

The movie is basically about Frank (Depp), an American math teacher visiting Venice.  Elise (Jolie) deliberately crosses paths with Frank, and drags him into this mess.  The mob and Interpol are chasing Frank, thinking he is Elise husband..boyfriend (I honestly don't remember)...anyway this guy is wanted in 15 countries, back taxes, and the mob wants him for stealing 2 billion dollars. So Frank is running for his life the whole movie. sounds exciting? really it wasn't. :)

Depp and Jolie are great in other movies, but this one they had nooooo on screen chemistry, I was laughing at some parts of the movie because it was soo unbelievable. Anyway, my sister on the other hand really liked the movie...so if you're interested, please please only pay matinee pricing, or wait for it to hit the dollar theatre. 4/10 stars
