Over the weekend, we went to dinner with some of our neighbors, which was a lot of fun (cannot wait to do again!) This was really the first time we've gotten together outside the street. We met for dinner at WingNuts, one of our favorite places if you like wings. They have almost 20 different sauces to choose from...mild to extra hot! When we finally arrived, my hubby surprised all of us by saying he was going to try the Purgatory challenge. My first reaction? are you kidding me? tonight? lol. What is this purgatory challenge?? First you have to sign a waiver..in case something happens. no joke. They take the hottest sauce, southern lemon hotties, kick that sauce up even hotter...then you have to eat 10 of these wings as fast as you can! They have a purgatory mirror on the wall for those that make the top 10 (only 8 on the list right now).

Sooo glad I brought my camera. He finished those wings in 2 min 49 sec. wahoo! I think he almost passed out at wing #8. ;) But his time was good enough for his name on the mirror (I think number 6), a cool t-shirt, and kudos from the employees. Most of the employees at WingNuts know my husband and bronlaw anyway...they are there quite a bit. Congrats sweetie! (then the next night my bronlaw had to do it so he could get the tshirt.. lol)..

I'd totally past out just at the smell of all that hot sauce! Congrats to hubby for his strength.
Holy Crap! Why didn't you mention that sooner? How awesome! Did Jordan get his name on the mirror too? I am not surprised - way to go Jared!!! I still need to go eat there!
